The Mothman is a rather modern legend originating in Point Pleasant, WV. The Mothman has been described as a bird-like, humanoid creature with wings like a moth and glowing red eyes. It was first sighted in 1966 and then indicated in the catastrophic collapse of the Silver Bridge in December of 1967. The story was the key inspiration for a novel called The Mothman Prophecies, which was later adapted into a sinister film starring Richard Gere. The Mothman remains a figure of mystery and superstition drawing interested parties to the museum devoted to this story in the town of it's origin.
Mothman is an 8 oz, white, coconut soy, candle with a crackling wooden wick. Mothman sniffs of roadside diner, mysterious phone calls, bakery treat, and local legend - the scent notes are spiced pumpkin cake mingled with creamy, whipped marshmallow. Think pumpkin whoopie pie and you've likely conjured an idea of this delicious scent. Take a trip to Point Pleasant in hopes of sighting the Mothman, but beware, you may get stuck there.
